Biography
I'm a Scottish-born, people-first Engineering Manager with a background in front-end development and a lifelong love of performance, storytelling, and visual culture. Over the last 20 years, I’ve led design system teams, built tools for creators, and worked on everything from award-winning short films to large-scale product launches. Along the way, I’ve worn many hats—designer, creative technologist, director, executive, teacher, and proud dad. I also have a grasp of Portuguese at a conversational level.
Outside of tech, I’m most at home in the kitchen or on the dance floor. I teach 1930s–40s-style Lindy Hop and Charleston and regularly DJ swing dance socials. I’m a foodie, gamer, and movie lover who can lose hours to a good story.
Together with my wife (a filmmaker) and our young son, we’d love to be considered for opportunities as a family or individually. We bring warmth, chemistry, and a deep love for creative collaboration.
