Due to working in customer service my personality has become more open to different minded people making me approachable, tolerant and cooperative furthermore I have an adept ability to create rapport with new people allowing me to easily integrate with others and make them feel comfortable. With over five years of experience dealing with people in a variety of different roles I comfortably remain in character despite criticism, contention and disagreement; tailoring my body language and mannerism to diffuse tense situations, I calmly resolve the disturbances around me. I strongly believe that this experience will prove fruitful in the role of a background artist, having done drama in my early years I am aware of the flexibility required to play a role and the corresponding gestures, expressions and emotional conveyance need to make you believable which are all transferable qualities solidified in me through working in events and catering environments. In catering and customer service my role was to act as a service provider; this at times was done in five start hotels where posture, manner and poise were highly regarded putting the needs of the client/customer first. Similarly, a background artist provides the ambiance required to create a specific scene, mood and feel which is done through portraying yourself a certain way, a skill well fashioned in me.
