Biography
I have had previous experiences with acting with a show I had called "The ghost of Robert burns" where I (The ghost) would appear in the room through smoke and tell the audience stories of his past life and recite some the 18th century poets most famous works. Also having some audience participation. Music and sound effects are used aswell to enhance the show aswell as make up and hair accessories including sideburns. I have done shows up and down the country with stage performances in hugh schools and community centres. I had the option of going abroad which never went ahead due to covid but heading to Jakarta Indonesia to perform for the Indonesian burns club in January 2022.
I attended acting classes in January 2016 for 4 weeks which I found beneficial at the time and certainly helped my self esteem. I and a few associates had done a couple of shows related to "Still game" which we called "Still gaun" where three of us would be singing songs from the related series "chewin the fat" with a make believe bar and a barman. Audience participation aswell. Nothing really formal. Of course I am a regular at burns suppers and do alot of reciting and performing too.
I am also very keen to try anything new that would benefit and enhance a career of performing.
