Biography
In the early 70's I served for a couple of years in The Parachute Regiment ...... I then played guitar in a band called Strange Brew for a couple of years. After that, I was a stock car driver for a year, then I opened a record shop ...... this grew to a small chain of four record shops before the slow decline of independent record shops in the 90s.
In 1980 I started presenting a weekly rock show on Radio Clyde ... this ran until 2004 when I went full time on a new Radio Station called Rock Radio which ran for a few years.
I am now semi retired but still enjoy working as a supporting artist, which I have done for around 20 years ....... I've been an extra in various films including: Whisky Galore / Tommy's Honour / The Outlaw King ....... plus a few TV programmes including: Still Game / Grandpas Great Escape / Anika / Shetland.
