Biography
Martin was born in India and for the first 23 years of his life lived in India, Sri Lanka, Aden and Ethiopia.
He attended Teesside College of Art and the Byam Shaw School of Painting in London. Martin lectured in Painting for twenty five years in Australia and worked in outback N.S.W.for seven years with the Kamilori Aboriginal Community in Moree. Martin is a practicing Artist and exhibits his work in the UK and Australia. Martin owned his own gallery restaurant in Armidale, Northern N.S.W. for several years. Whilst living in Wick in Caithness, Scotland Martin taught cooking and drama classes at Wick Academy for several terms.
