Biography
7 years service in The Royal Navy as a Communicator and also ran a section of the Weapons Engineering Department. Travelled all around the World including Far East, Mediterranean, Black Sea and Arabian Gulf Deployments aboard HMS York. Received an award from The Mayor of York for overseeing and managing a department normally covered by an officer 2 ranks above me. Also received a personal letter of congratulations for my efforts from the Admiral of the Fleet.
Recently left Royal Mail after 14 years, Postman and Workplace Coach, a job I absolutely loved for the exercise and being outdoors.
Am now working within the Facilities Management Department of a top Investment Management Firm after an opportunity presented itself I could not refuse - really enjoying it and the network it provides.
Have also worked at Gleneagles Hotel Resort as a Greenkeeper.
Have always had a keen interest in TV/Film and acting. Extra work has always appealed to me and I really got the bug after being lucky enough to get a part as a noble in David Mackenzies 'Outlaw King'.
Massive 'Sopranos' fan and recently visited New York where I went on the Sopranos set tour of New Jersey. James Gandolfini my all time favourite actor for his part. Also went to see Jerry Seinfields live standup as i am a massive Seinfield fan also.
I am a lover of all things Scottish, yet also open minded to the rest of the world having gained many life skills and experiences during my time in the navy.
