Antoni Wilson is a 28 year old Actor and Director based in Glasgow. He graduated with a BA(Hons) in Drama and Music Theatre Performance from The University of Cumbria, Institute of The Arts in November 2017
Antoni has been involved with many productions in his career and has been on various TV shows as a background artist including BBC Dramas River City and Waterloo Road. Antoni's first professional credit, a leading Role in the 2011 Short Film - Getting on directed By Ewan Stewart and the original short story Written by Liam Stewart. 'Getting On' went on to win numerous awards including a Scottish BAFTA.
Antoni has also had the opportunity to work with charities including Volunteer Scotland in their ad campaign as an "Elderly Volunteer" as well as a voiceover for BBC Panorama in his earlier years.
Antoni has taken on various leading roles including Billy Gosling in Mother Goose Panto (101 Park Street) Mark and First Cover Adam in Dennis Kelly's DNA (Airdrie Town Hall) and Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde(Stanwix Theatre)
He was part of the ensemble cast in the Smash Hit Musical Sunshine on Leith(101 Park Street) and the 70's Musical Boogie Nights(Hamilton Town House)
Antoni has worked with an array of West End and Scottish Professionals including Dawn Sievwright (Legally Blonde),
Christopher Howell (42nd Street), Louise McCarthy (BBC Scot Squad), Gayle Telfer Stevens and Gary Lamont(BBC River City) and has been directed by some of London's finest directors including Grant Murphy (Shrek The Musical, Rent The Musical and Sister Act The Musical), Russel Lucas(Julie Madly Deeply), Charlie Westenra( The Wicker Husband) and Award Winning director Adam Morley(Treasure Island)
Antoni's most latest projects saw him take on his first directorial project. Antoni successfully directed and showcased 'Frankies' - The 60's Musical at Stanwix Theatre in December 2016. He then performed in Legally Blonde as Professor Callahan and after a successful 3 night run then performed as Black Dog in Treasure Island directed by Adam Morley
