Biography
My name is Kavan Majidi. I am a Scottish National Judo Champion and an international athlete competing for the IJF Team.
I was born in Iran and moved to Scotland in 2020 in pursuit of a better future and the opportunity to continue my sporting career. Starting over in a new country was challenging, but through hard work, resilience, and determination, I rebuilt my life while continuing to compete at the highest levels of judo.
Since arriving in Scotland, I have represented the IJF Team at major international events, including World Championships, Grand Slams, and European competitions. Alongside my athletic career, I work in security and actively contribute to my local community through volunteering.
My journey is about overcoming adversity, embracing new opportunities, and proving that with dedication and perseverance, it is possible to achieve your goals regardless of where you start.
