Biography
Yelden Sarybay is a multilingual communications professional, journalist, and storyteller with a unique global background and a passion for real, human experiences. Originally from Kazakhstan, Yelden grew up in Ankara and Berlin and has lived, studied, and worked across the UK, China, and Central Asia. He brings a wealth of life experience — from founding a school magazine as a teenager to leading a high-stakes international communications campaigns for a major financial institution.
Yelden has worked across the creative industries: writing scripts, producing interviews, coordinating public events, and even founding a graffiti art festival in Astana. He has a degree in Politics and Development from SOAS University of London and is currently on academic leave from a senior role at the Astana International Financial Centre while completing a Master’s in International Business.
Comfortable on camera and behind the scenes, Yelden is articulate, expressive, and grounded. With fluency in five languages (including English, Russian, German, and Kazakh), he thrives in cross-cultural settings and brings authenticity, warmth, and intelligence to every project.
