Biography
I am 61 years old retired merchant navy cook having spent 20 years at sea. I then studied acting and performance at Glasgow Nautical College where I obtained an HNC. Since then I have worked in various jobs including care work ,building site labourer,seasonal gardener, and for a while worked for myself gardening, other jobs I have done in catering as Chef housekeeper my last chef job/housekeeper was working on some remote island M.O.D bases,on drama I have been in a few college plays and performed in a production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie in a two week run at the Edinburgh fringe .I am currently involved wit the theatre company Sweet for Addicts a non profit making company for people affected by addiction I myself am a recovering alcoholic with 30 years of sobriety and I remain involved with AA .I have been involved onstage on four production with S.F.A most recent on back in August at East Kilbride Arts Centre . In the extras work I was involved in Tinsel Town ,the Peter Jackson movie The Waterhorse and a couple of TV adverts and understand fully what is involved in being a supporting actor now I have more time and less commitments to ŵork I would like to try extras work again.
