Biography
Married (3rd time lucky!) to my gorgeous wife Kathryn, with 3 very beautiful step-daughters and 2 doodle dogs - Dave & Dolly. Recently retired Scottish Gov. Civil Servant where I spent 30 years in agriculture. Prior to that I worked as a hill shepherd for 12 years. Other than my aforementioned spouse, my main passion is music. I write songs, play acoustic guitar, harmonica & sing a bit - usually with my long-time playing partner. We used to gig as a duo locally, and were previously part of a band in the 80s / 90s which played 2-3 nights a week all over Scotland. I like to keep myself fit & healthy by hitting the gym / pool

Dogs - during my time as a shepherd, I used to breed, rear & train sheepdogs. I absolutely loved developing pups & young dogs. I occasionally ran my dogs at local sheepdog trials
Cooking - I’m no Gordon Ramsay (apart from the colourful language!) but I do enjoy rustling up something delicious for the family
