Biography
I was born and raised in Birmingham UK. I have had 35 years experience in the music / entertainment industry and have toured the world 8 times over. I have been credited for being the first ever British Asian Artist in the UK Music Charts. I have 7 UK Top 40 Chart Hits, songs featured in 8 Hollywood movies including ‘Dumb & Dumber 1 & 2’ , ‘Scooby Doo 2’ & 5 Bollywood Films. My songs have been featured on over 150 Tv commercials worldwide including the new ‘MacDonalds’ commercial in the UK 4 months ago. I performed on ‘Top of the Pops’, twice, ‘The Jools Holland Show’, ‘The Word’ as well as many other TV Shows including UK Breakfast TV. I have presented my own shows for Channel 4 from India, Charlton TV from the UK, & MTV worldwide filmed in Jamaica which were all aired at peak times. I presented my own talk show for ‘BritAsia TV’ which is the biggest Asian TV Station in the UK. I was the first Asian Dj with my own show on BBC Radio 1 back in 1995. I was recently featured on ‘The One Show’. I was offered a guest spot on ‘Hollyoaks’ in 2022 as a singer in an Asian wedding scene. (I got paid, but they pulled the scene due to a lack of time on their side). I performed live at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022. I have had 4 Brit Award nominations, the Mercury Music Prize, Ivor Norvello Award as well as many other prestigious awards from the music industries here & internationally. I was presented with the ‘British Empire Medal’ (BEM) by the late Queen and of England for services to music & community and for pioneering a new genre of music. I signed a deal with Universal Pictures in 2022 to make a Bio Pic Movie of my life story which should hit the screens within 4 years. I have been more famously known as the music Artist by the name of Apache Indian with the international hit song ‘Boomshackalak’. I moved to Glasgow two years ago because I fell in love with a beautiful lady and we are shortly due to get married.

I have a lot of experience in the world of TV / Film / Music & have filmed over 100 music videos across the globe. I am able to speak in English, Punjabi and in Jamaican Patio. I am still active in the music biz with recording & touring. I have always had a passion to do more work in Tv & film and have been looking for the right team to work with. I am kind, humble, professional, hard working and I am a team player. My skills range from, working in a factory as a welder for 6 years, I was the first aid officer too, running a recording studio, singing, songwriting, performing, dancing, cooking, driving cars & vans, playing some instruments, teaching/mentoring in schools/colleges, parenting 3 children, I am keen on sport, qualified basketball referee, wanted to teach sport & English, running a youth club for 7 years, organising community festivals, gardening & more. I am generally a hard worker and have lots of experience of being on TV / Film sets both sides of the camera. I am use to the long hours and waiting times on set. Whilst I have experience and various skills, I am not a professional actor by far, but I am prepared to go to drama classes and continue to develop my skills in the field. I am very tidy, organised, punctual, keep myself to myself, less is more, I don’t bother people, I am a problem solver and I have a lot of patience. I’ve seen a lot in 35 years so have a good understanding of the entertainment business and consider myself a good judge of character and situations. I’ve had experience of being around very famous people so nothing phases me. I am very loyal to the people and teams I work with and will represent them to the highest levels.
