My name is Rocco DeNardo, and I’m a passionate and dedicated performer with a strong background in both the performing arts and physical disciplines. I’m a recent secondary school graduate and a qualified lifeguard, bringing a well-rounded combination of discipline, confidence, and energy to every opportunity I take on.
I began training in Taekwondo at the age of five—a journey that led me to earn my black belt and taught me the value of dedication, resilience, and focus. I’ve also trained in Muay Thai and MMA, which have helped me develop strength, endurance, and mental toughness. Health and fitness are central to my lifestyle, supporting both my martial arts and my ambition to succeed as an actor and performer.
At the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts (GAMTA), I’ve built a strong foundation in acting, improvisation, and choreography. I’ve performed in a range of stage productions, including Fall into November at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, Moments at Glasgow’s Theatre Royal, and took on the lead role of Sonny LaTierri in Grease the Musical at Cumbernauld Theatre. I also sing and play guitar, which allows me to explore my love for music and storytelling.
Outside of my training and performances, I work freelance as Spider-Man for a children’s party entertainment company—an energetic and rewarding role that lets me bring characters to life and connect with young audiences.
My goal is to pursue acting full-time. I’m committed to continuing my training at GAMTA and hope to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I’m driven, focused, and ready to make a lasting impact in the world of performing arts.
