Biography
Recently retired, I've only just started my career as an extra.
My first role was playing a clan chief over three weeks for Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood in various locations around Scotland.
I was selected to be a cast stand-in on several days.
Also recently played crowd member for the film I Swear. Man in pub in various scenes for River City. And church goer in thriller Coldwater.
For the last 7 years I have been a funeral celebrant, where I successfully delivered hundreds of funeral services for families all over Scotland. So I'm used to performing in front of tough crowds!
In contrast, I was Santa Claus for a couple of Christmases at a theme park and, despite going to Lapland, my 7-year-old grandson is convinced I am still the real Santa!
I spent most of my working life in different areas of the media, so I'm used to getting on with people from all walks of life.
Skills
Can play all sports, swim, ride a bike, and the like. Keen hill walker. Dodgy dancer. Very basic Spanish. Used to paint so can do a good impression of an artist. Can turn my hand to almost anything.
