Manjit Gill

Biography

I came to UK as a young boy went to evening classes to polish up my English.
I came to Glasgow from Leicester at the end of 1967. I worked in buses for couple of years then went to vocational training course to learn about Radio and Television. Worked for Clydesdale TV and
Granada TV till 1978. Bought a Grocery shop and then opened my own Indian restaurant and fish & chips ran them till my retirement. I’m happily married have two children and three grandchildren.
