Biography
Hi there...
I'm a 38 year old Glasgow born male.
I've been attending acting classes since January and completed my second module... I'm currently on my second module with two more still to complete.
I joined the (Dumbartons Peoples Theatre)
Helping out with there first production of 2024, rehearsals, prop management, moving set into and out of theatre.
I then auditioned for a role in there second production and secured a role as one of the main characters ( 1st-4th May )
Having joined the theatre group I am learning much about all aspects of productions... The importance of a team effort with the full crew and not just the fellow actors... And having multiple members to draw advice and guidance from.
It was a fellow member ( Jill Lawrence )
who recommended yourselves and David very highly... And she was keen to get me in touch.
I'm looking to further my development and try my hand and all types of roles and challenges.
Skills
Having taken a year off from my main job I've been focused on performing.
I'm a tattooist of 12 years.
This has served me well in regards to communicating with people of all types of backgrounds and age... Talking, laughing, engaging, empathising, learning, mirroring people, building relationships.
It has also installed a professional work ethic... arranging bookings, prep work, having to be on time and punctual, thinking on the spot, adapting to last minute changes, listen and taking on board the clients needs, concentrating for hours at a time, communicating clear and well, being groomed and presentable, and building trusting relationships.
