Biography
Retired Police Officer- Ex Marine Unit. Qualified & certified boat operator and Search and Recovery Diver; I also have other Police specific specialties including Public Order Team (riot squad), C.B.R.N. (Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear Response Team), And CT (Counter Terrorist) Search Team, Police Qualified Driver. I Spent my whole Police career in front line, uniformed service and have the stories and scars to prove it!
Prior to that and in no particular order I worked in the Hotel, Leisure & Hospitality trade, Merchant Navy, Sales & Marketing, Diving & Watersports Instructor and for a brief period in the Banking sector.
I'm looking for a wee part time job to keep me from going insane with retirement induced boredom (RIB)!
Spent a significant part of my upbringing and young adult life abroad. VERY well travelled as a result, thanks to my Father working overseas as a Diplomat.
I live in Irvine, North Ayrshire, but actually hail from Edinburgh where I was privately educated. Currently I am fully retired, a stay at home Dad for my two teenage kids. I also live with a Parrot.

HSE Part IV Commercially certified Diver.
DOT Commercially Endorsed RYA Small Marine Water Craft (20m) operator with accompanying comms, survival and equipment maintenance certs.
Trained Chef. I have also worked in all the roles that you could find in an hotel, bar and restaurant.
Avid Motorcyclist. (30 years).
Car Licence (40 years).
HGV Pt1 (Cat C&E) driver. (10 years).
Competent mechanic.
