Biography
Hi, I’m Derek, an experienced Supporting Artist based in Glasgow, with experience across TV, film and commercials, including River City, Granite Harbour, Blood of My Blood, Only Child, Half Man, Sunny Dancer, California Scheming and an Irn-Bru commercial.
I’ve worked in a variety of roles and settings, including military, police, security, prison staff, office workers and pub customers, as well as period productions and continuity work.
I’ve also completed a Screen Performance course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which has helped build my confidence in front of the camera and develop my acting and performance skills.
I’m reliable, take direction well and love being on set, performing and bringing different characters to life. I’m always keen to take on new roles and gain more experience. I have my own transport and am happy to travel.
