Biography

Enthusiastic with a positive attitude, I like to get to work and collaborate with others.
I studied HND Acting and Performance at Edinburgh college, graduating in 2019. During my time at college I developed my acting skills greatly and had numerous opportunities to showcase them in several live performances held throughout both years of the course. We also worked on vocal techniques, accents, movement and dancing, stage combat, physical theatre and had the chance to work with industry professionals in Scotland. In our final year we travelled to Targa-Mures, Romania to participate in specialist workshops designed to teach us new techniques and further broaden our skillset. We did the workshops alongside Targa-Mures Theatre School students, a brilliant opportunity to represent our college and exchange knowledge and culture.

I'm a dedicated martial artist with skills in boxing, Thai-boxing and Ju Jitsu. I've competed for a numbers of years in the past in boxing and won a Scottish Novice Championship in 2018.

Being an avid traveller I've had the chance to travel several places working different jobs, gaining what I consider to be valuable life experience.
In the summer between between my 2 year HND course I partook in the Camp America work exchange program and took on the role of martial arts instructor/ co-ordinator at a summer camp on the outskirts of New York for kids and young adults aged of 4 to 17. My role was to help organise a schedule for the various groups to follow and put together a development path for each age group in order to teach them a set of self defense skills. This was my first extended time-period outside of Scotland, I had the chance to make several new friends with other international and domestic workers at the camp and build relationships with the kids I taught.

More recently I returned home from a year long around the world trip I'd planned post covid which spanned Eastern Europe, North, South and Central Africa, South East Asia, Japan and India. During this trip I ticked off bucket list visits to countries and sightsaw, tried new things like sky diving, surfing, mountaineering, worked in several hostels in different countries and met many characters. The trip really invigorated me to live life to the fullest and put myself out there.
