Neil has been playing/recording guitar for over 45 years. His first gig was at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline in the early 70's. Since then Neil has performed (as a side man) at international festivals with: Tam White, Boz Burrell (Bad Company), Peter Straker (Hair), Camille O'Sullivan, Jim Diamond, Maggie Bell, Brian Kellock, Lorna Reid Quintet, Dave Heath, Aqua Bassino and more.
In the last 10 years Neil pioneered the Weissenborn lap Steel guitar and has been featured on BBC Radio 2 with his own solo compositions.

Neil has worked many different jobs since graduating at Heriot-Watt University in the 70's: Bakery worker, heavy plant hire assistant to engineer, gardener, labourer, shop manager, music promoter, graphic designer, painter and decorator, IT management, postgraduate student and a few more random jobs in the last 50 years.
