I've always had a keen interest in the performing arts and it started when I was a teenager. I joined my local Youth Theatre group and took part in various plays and musicals, even performing at the Edinburgh Festival one year which still is a precious memory I have! I then performed at numerous concerts and shows at school and to be honest these were some of my best years, that I still look back on fondly. I took Higher Drama then Advanced Higher Drama, actually got top marks and I was going to take this further into University and beyond but I ended up studying something different and not pursuing this (which I totally regret!). I did do some extra work quite a few years ago, had extra parts in River City, in a few series on TV and was a film extra for a couple of movies. I've been re-evaluating my life lately asking myself when I was most happy and what brought me most happiness and it's definitely in the world of acting/performing arts. Although I know I won't have lead roles or anything like that it'd be amazing to dip my toe back into this world, I'd also be interested in possibly doing some voiceover work.
