Biography
I’m an experienced Airport Security Officer with hands-on experience at both London Gatwick and Edinburgh airports. I’ve done a bit of everything — from check-in and boarding gates to working as a Custody Officer for an immigration security company at Gatwick. The work is fast-paced and varied, and it’s taught me how to stay calm, professional, and kind no matter what the day brings.
Before life at the airport, I worked in hospitality — in a busy hotel and behind the bar — where I learned the art of good conversation, teamwork, and keeping things running smoothly under pressure (with a smile, of course).
I love getting involved in community events and a good challenge. I’ve volunteered at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the Edinburgh and Glasgow Kiltwalks, and even abseiled off the Forth Bridge for charity — a proud and slightly nerve-wracking moment!
