Biography
Lorna recently retired as a pharmacist and store manager after over 35 years on the GPhC register and is looking forward to having increased availablity for SA work having started 2 years ago having had lots of onstage experience . She is punctual , a good teamplayer, and has her own transport. She loves being on set , meeting new people, takes direction well and has been already been cast in a couple of speaking roles ( and always brings too many costume options!)
She has been performing in amateur musical theatre/drama for 34 years in 58 productions. She has had a number of principle roles most recently “Velma Von Tussle” in “ Hairspray” “Mama Bear” in “ Shrek” and “Jennyanydots “ in “Cats” so she can act, sing and move pretty well and can react naturally to those acting around her.
Taken part in 3 workshops for “Les Miserables” musical, 2 at Pineapple studios, London.
Lorna is a good character actress having played many comedy and villainous roles. If she's not onstage you can find her in the front row on opening night at musicals or ballet! Good with animals particularly cats.
Lorna was on “ Blind date” with Cilla in 2000 ( No2 from Edinburgh) and represented Boots employees ,along with celebrities, as part of the BBC Children in Need Bearfaced campaign 2017 where she was photographed by Rankin in London.
She loves to travel particularly to see and photograph wildlife and ancient ruins.

Genetically mostly Scottish, some Irish a bit of Viking and perhaps some Targarean and Malfoy!!!
