Biography

Born in Lanark Scotland and grew up in Callander Stirlingshire. Married with two grown up daughters and one granddaughter. . I have been involved with many community theatre/drama projects over the years since being being given a taste for drama in Callander Drama Group in my teens. I have received 5 years of drama tuition by professional tutors in association with the Brunton Theatre Edinburgh as an adult. Performed in stage and film productions in association with Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. Stage Management and performer in play at Edinburgh Festival. Currently run Catching The Past Living History Experiences with a friend and together we create events using drama, music, storytelling and crafts to bring the past to life. We use antique and vintage props and costumes to enhance our experiences. Trained at Telford College Edinburgh in Production and Technical Theatre. I have my own interesting collection of props and costume. Re enactor with 1722 Waggonway Project and Prestonpans 1745 Battlefield Trust. My hobbies include being a collector of vintage and retro prams which I use in drama productions, living history experiences and exhibit.Rough Collie ie Lassie type Dog Owner. Other pets include a rabbit and one guinea pig. Ability to drive a1947 vintage grey Ferguson tractor owned by my husband which is available for filming and fully insured. Experienced tv and film extra.
