Biography
Aged 40, originally from Stockpot, South Manchester, I have lived in Balloch since moving here in 1997.
In the 20+ years I have been here I have successfully forged a career working with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where I held the post of Health Improvement Senior for Children and Young People. I managed to be successful in this role from being determined to make a difference in the lives of young people since I started volunteering for a local health promotion project in 1997.
While I have had a very successful career, I felt my position moved me away from direct work with young people and am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can have a career change.
While I am in the process of starting up my own youth heath promotion business, I feel that I am in a perfect position to become a supporting actor, as it's something I have always wanted to do!
I have two teenage children, Alistair and Lucy and while being a mum to the two of them, they're now socialising and making their own ways in life, which has enabled me to make time to peruse my own interests.
