I was a professional dancer. Having trained in ballet passing all the grades from the age of 5 to 18 years of age. My first professional paid contract was 2 summer seasons at the Blackpool Tower at the ages of 13 and 14, performing (singing and dancing) in 'The Children's Revue' each evening and weekends. I then went on to a 3 year contemporary dance course before again taking to the stage as a professional dancer. I travelled abroad with a modern jazz dance troupe for a number of years before taking up contracts dancing and singing professionally in musical theatre in the UK. During these years I owned an equity card. Since then I have always, and still do, attend various dance classes and taken part in amateur theatre productions. For the past 4 years I have been an active member in a local amateur theatre/choir group performing in the ensemble, singing/dancing/acting in choral concerts as well as musicals such as '9 to 5', Nunsense, 'Made in Dagenham'. For the past decade I have also been an active member of a Historical American West Re-enactment group, writing scripts and performing live action sketches to large audiences.
