Biography
Currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, my journey here has been challenging yet transformative, and has shaped the resilient passion for acting that drives me today.
Growing up, I hid behind humour, mistaking vulnerability for weakness. Fear of judgement stopped me from pursuing performance, while academic struggles eroded my confidence and led me into work from the age of 14. Over the next decade, I developed a strong work ethic, discovered that every person has a story worth listening to and an understanding of human nature that continues to inform my work as an actor.
After overcoming addiction, I found a renewed appreciation for life and the courage to face my greatest fear: performing. My first role as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream taught me to embrace risk, trust my instincts, and connect with an audience. Since then, every role has become an opportunity to develop, challenge myself and deepen my understanding of people and the world.
Completing my first year at RCS has been the most rewarding experiences of my life. The rigorous, practical training has strengthened my craft, challenged me creatively, and reinforced my belief that acting is a lifelong process of discovery. I’ve embraced opportunities both inside and outside the rehearsal room, continually pushing myself beyond my comfort zone and learning from inspiring tutors and talented peers.
To me, acting is about connection. Creating honest, meaningful work that helps people feel seen and understood. I thrive in collaborative environments, approaching challenges with curiosity, resilience, and positivity. My experiences have taught me that growth comes from embracing vulnerability, and I am committed to continually developing as both an artist and a person. Acting has transformed my life, and I remain dedicated to pursuing it with the same determination, openness, and passion that brought me here.
