I am a 26 year old with Down's Syndrome. I am a sociable, friendly and enthusiastic person and an animal lover. My family has two dogs, a cat and a pony and I enjoy quiet walks on my pony and, occasionally, a trot in the school. I currently volunteer in a local Community Cafe. My hobbies include swimming, pilates, dancing, singing, musical theatre and drama. I love performing, having been in dance shows since I was four years old and most recently I was in the Culter Panto ("Peter Pan") and GAMTA's production of "Joseph" at the SEC in Glasgow. I am a member of Shazam Musical Theatre group and will be taking part in their production of "Annie Get Your Gun" this summer at the Tivoli Theatre in Aberdeen. I also sing with Rock Choir and a highlight with them was singing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year. I have been involved in Girlguiding since I was five, from Rainbows through to Rangers and am now an Assistant Leader with a local Rainbow Group. I also love camping with Guides and have twice been to the Haarlem Jamborette in Holland. I was a Queen's Baton Bearer for the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
