I am a passionate and dedicated System Officer within Social Work Services, driven by a deep commitment to improving the systems that support individuals, families, and communities. My background in psychology and education allows me to bring both analytical insight and human understanding to my work, ensuring that every process I contribute to serves people with empathy and purpose.
My journey began earlier than most — I entered university at just sixteen to study psychology, a subject that has shaped my understanding of behaviour, motivation, and resilience. Later, I qualified as a teacher, a role that strengthened my belief in the power of learning and the importance of nurturing potential in others. These experiences have guided me throughout my career, helping me create meaningful change within social care settings.
Above all, my greatest achievement is being a mother to my two beautiful children. They inspire me every day to lead by example — to work hard, stay kind, and keep striving for balance between professional fulfilment and personal joy.
Outside of work, I have a lifelong love of film and television. I find inspiration in storytelling — in the way stories can teach us, move us, and remind us of our shared humanity.
