Hello, I am Hannah Craig. I am 36 years old and was born and raised in Aberdeen before making Edinburgh my home in 2019.
In Aberdeen, I built a career in the oil and gas industry which I enjoyed very much, but I felt a strong pull toward a different pace of life and a new environment. Driven by a long-held desire to settle in Edinburgh, I made the move with my husband and have never looked back.
Now a stay-at-home Mum, I chose to step back from my career so I could spend time with my two young children. Being present for their early years has been one of my greatest joys! However, with my children growing and being at school in nursery, I'm beginning to rediscover the activities and hobbies that once inspired me. As I find more free time opening up, I'm excited to reconnect with old passions and pursue goals I had set aside before becoming a mother.
To kick start it all, in February 2026, I will begin a course at the Edinburgh Acting School.
During my early teenage years, I was an enthusiastic member of a youth theatre company, where I discovered a deep love for the stage. I performed in productions such as The King and I, Oklahoma!, Scrooge and Cinderella and various dance shows like the Moulin Rouge. I also attended a dance school in Aberdeen where I learnt and completed grades in different types of dance and enjoyed escaping my studies while doing it. I am always proud to say that I was also asked to be part of a group of 10 girls that the National Lottery funded to travel around Scotland promoting dance to various communities and schools.
