Margaret Rooney

Biography

I was raised in Glasgow in a housing scheme where I met my husband at school. We’ve been together for over 50 years. I worked in social work as a care organiser when my children grew older. I also ran a youth club and now help to run a seniors group. I am currently both secretary and treasurer. Mainly because no one else will do it 🤪 . Actually I love it. I have two daughters , three granddaughters and one grandson. They are all grown up now but still accept a wee penny when I offer. I’m pretty ordinary really 🤔

Skills

I can talk for ever and am game for anything. I’m also a good listener. I can do a bit of line dancing. I’m also good at begging especially for grants for my seniors group. Anyway that’s about it.
