Hi. My name is Sheila and I’m 53 years young. I’m medically retired from the emergency services and I look after cats and dogs while people are at work or on holiday but I very much have flexibility in what I do. I love all animals and have 11 at home and a very supportive husband. I am a keen equestrian and compete in dressage with the RDA (riding for disabled) and I am also a para rider. I also volunteer with the RDA and I am also a coach in training. I have a very positive outlook on life, I consider myself to be a very jovial person with a good sense of humour but I’m also a straight talker and don’t suffer fools gladly. Having worked 27 in the police as a civilian in communications I know how to use these skills well and I tend to get on well with everyone I meet. I have a disability and use a crutch for balance - I call myself a sober drunk !!
I love music !! From ABBA to ZZ Top and regularly attend live gigs. My favourite all time band are Genesis.
The last couple of years I’ve even braved the microphone and had a few shots at karaoke.
When I’m not busy with my animals I like a bit of crafting from decorating horse shoes and other horsey items and I also like to make up artificial flower arrangements with lots of bright colours
Excellent communication skills.
