Biography
I was born and raised in Glasgow. I am married and have two grown-up daughters. I am a retired Secondary School teacher. My final post was as Faculty leader of Performance and Design in Greenwood Academy, Irvine. I was in charge of the Art, Drama, Music and Technical departments. I led this team to put on concerts and events including a yearly show.
Skills
I can play the piano, sing and play other instruments at a basic level. I am also a good communicator, can work with others and enjoy problem solving. I am very comfortable with public speaking. I am very creative and can turn my hand to most practical tasks. e.g. painting & decorating, gardening, woodworking and maintenance. I also make stained glass panels as a hobby. I love animals and have a dog. I am quite strong as I do Yoga, Body Pump, Aquafit , Cardio Combat and swimming every week as well as walking my dog.
