Biography
My name is Carmen (short for Maria del Carmen) and I am originally from Spain. I have lived in Glasgow since 1995. I am married and I have 2 children, aged 7 and 9.
I am currently self-employed and I work from home.
Skills
I am fluent in Spanish, English and I have basic (very basic..) knowledge of other languages like French and Italian.
I have always had an interest in acting and, but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to focus on this area due to other "life responsibilities". It is never too late to give "another go" to the things you want to do in life though!
I have through years taken different courses (On the last years, I have taken courses with "Acting Coach Scotland" and most recently with "Southside Performance Studio" where I did a short course on voiceovers. I have taken all these courses as a hobby:
• Intro to acting course (Acting Coach Scotland) – Part time, 15 hours (July 2019)
• Stage 2 Acting course: Getting into Screen Acting (Acting Coach Scotland). – Part time, 15 hours (September 2019)
• Stage 2 “Scene on screen” (Acting Coach Scotland) – 1-2-1 session, 6 hours. (November 2019)
• Preparing for Performance (Acting Coach Scotland). Part time, 15 hours, (July 2019)
• Voiceover acting course (Southside Performance studios). Part time, 8 hours, (May 2022)
