The Hunger Games: The ballad of songbirds and snakes
Although I have never been an extra myself, this year I have been part of an incredible production managing hundreds of extras and gaining experience in the crowd world. I have come home to Scotland with the hopes of becoming an extra to have new experiences and network with people in the industry.
California Communications & Entertainment Company Limited, Scotland — Location scout and assistant to the Director
Over the summer of 2019, I worked for California Communications & Entertainment Company Limited as a location scout and as an assistant to the Director- Mr Sverre Sundman Olofsson. Through networking at my previous employment, I managed to gain fantastic work experience and get hands-on in both my roles. We worked at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and I also helped in the production of Sverre’s upcoming film which was incredible to be a part of. I helped with every aspect of filming and organisation which included finding and planning locations for his film.
